Which Disco System Do I Need? and Pricing
This page is here to explain in a non technical way why we charge
different prices and specify certain equipment for your function.
There are now
many variables of venues, travelling distances, operating times
and equipment requirements so it is not possible to give an accurate
price on line. Please give
me a call or email me with the venue and guest numbers as a guide. I
will ask you a few questions to get a more detailed picture of your
requirements so I can give you an accurate quote. Please use the prices
below as a guide only. Discounts are available in certain circumstances,
although difficult access or not local functions may incur extra
charges.
Our Budget system for small venues is called The Bronze System and
Starts at £225 for a Saturday night within 20 miles of Durham. Other
nights of the week may be cheaper.
Our Silver and Gold packages have been the most popular packages for
weddings, but this is now being over taken by our Platinum package as it
is designed to complement the theme of your wedding. Please see
the photographs to the right of each package specification.
The starting point is the Dj without who there is no atmosphere.
Each of our Dj's have slightly different sets of equipment so this page
is only a guide as to what you will see at your function.
Platinum System
Our top of the range prestige package
which has been designed for
weddings
and large venues.
This is our bespoke system that is designed to give the highest quality
experience and meet your individual requirements. This premium package
is the first choice for your Wedding. It usually
requires two entertainers to set the equipment up and dismantle at the nights close.
In addition to our Gold Sound and Lighting system, we now supply our
new Hi-tec Mood up-lighters to give your venue a whole new ambience.
Also included is a DVD of your first dance and other festivities
throughout the night .
Please see the photographs to the right and below. For a
function starting at 7:00 pm and finishing at Midnight would be around
£575.
We can supply the up-lighting with any of the packages below or
separately for example in a marquee. Please ask for a quotation
Gold System
Our
intention is to provide superb sound quality for the venue. This may
mean a loudspeaker in a offset room and monitor loudspeakers on large
stages.
The most noticeable difference with the Gold system is the lighting
supplied. The silver system is expanded with further effect lights and dimmable
lighting, but also has the addition
of a small two colour Laser, Star
Curtains, Birdie Cans (Small spotlights) and new L.E.D effect lighting.
It is a quality system that usually requires the Dj and another person
to assemble, so in many cases two of our Djs work together combining
their systems. For a
function starting at 7:00 pm and finishing at Midnight would be around
£400 to £450.
This system is the primary system asked for by Brides for quality
Weddings. The fee includes Dj and Roadie as it needs two people to
assemble.
The Silver System
For this system we add a pair of Bass loudspeakers to the Bronze system. This increases the sound quality considerably
when used in a larger venue such as a Social Club or Hotel Function
Room. As these rooms are larger we also supply more lighting effects.
For a function starting at 7:00 pm and finishing at Midnight would be
around £300. In the photo below we used 4 up-lighters as this was the
most appropriate upgrade.
The Silver system is designed for an economic function in a social club
or Hotel function room
The Bronze
Disco System
This Bronze System is designed to be
used in the small Pub situation. This system does not
have the necessary volume level or sound quality for a full disco for
adults over 50 people. It is designed to be the most economical
system for small intimate functions. See the silver system for larger venues.
For a function starting at 7:00 pm and finishing at Midnight would be
around £225.
